Seriously, 30 dollars for this?
The most unreliable FTP client I’ve ever used. Slow. Filezilla looks like a cheetah compared to this thing. UI looks nice, but what does it matter if the app doesnt work? This is third time I’ve lost data with a disk mounted because it failed to save, then decided that the file it failed to save should get uploaded, resulting in a zero kb file. Oh, gee, thanks. Is there no internal error checking? I get ‘credentials invalid’ all that time, but then magically on the 3rd try to connect to a server it will work. Never had this issue with any other client. Hasn’t been updated in forever, just like Coda.
Don’t buy from Panic. They don’t update their software, and don’t provide solid tools. As a developer, my tools are the last thing I want to be fighting with. I spend more time trying to get Panic’s programs to behave (or going in and trying to recover data) than actually getting work done.
